OpenCloud's management team has extensive experience and is well supported by Directors and Advisors.

Jeff Gordon, CEO

Jeff Gordon has more than 33 years' experience in the IT and communications sectors and has an outstanding track record in holding executive leadership roles with large corporate entities in the telecoms sector as well as various executive and non-executive roles with venture backed businesses. Jeff's previous experience includes heading up Motorola's EMEA infrastructure business in which he was responsible for $1.6 billion in annual revenues and leading 1400 employees. Prior to Motorola he chaired the Unisys European Management Board. Jeff was previously chairman of Axiom Systems, a leading provider of service delivery solutions to the telecommunications industry and Celltick, a leading provider of mobile content discovery and marketing solutions. Jeff has been CEO of OpenCloud since 2008 and is also non-executive Chairman of Teacher Tech, a UK based provider of IT outsourcing solutions to the SME market.

Peter Green, Chief Financial Officer

Peter has over 12 years industry experience most of which have been spent as a board level CFO for a number of fast growth hi-tech and telecommunications companies in the UK such as Vedaris, Nildram (ISP) and Vialtus Solutions (part of Pipex Communications plc). Prior to joining OpenCloud, Peter was Head of Finance for EGS Group, a software and solutions business in the e-procurement sector.

Phillip Stubbs, Chief Technology Officer

Phillip has 15 years experience in mobile telecommunications working developing solutions for leading network operators. Phillip joined Vodafone in 1997 where he spent 10 years in increasing senior roles in network design, IN development, Prepay evolution and messaging architecture. Prior to joining OpenCloud in 2012, Phillip spent five years with Airwide Solutions as Chief Architect to evolve the product architecture and lead global solutions development.

David Ferry, Chief Engineer & Founder

David holds a Masters Degree in Computer Science studying Java for Telecoms. He is the co-specification lead of the JAIN SLEE expert group and is a recognised expert in his field. David provides leadership for the engineering teams ensuring the technical implementations deliver the high-performance and quality required for OpenCloud’s carrier grade telecoms products.

David Page, Chief Scientist & Founder

David holds a PhD in Object Technology. David held a University Lectureship and was a sought-after IT and telecommunications industry consultant before he joined OpenCloud. David is a member of a number of Java specification expert groups. David is integral in the setting and guiding OpenCloud’s technical direction and development.

Jonathan Bell, VP Product Marketing

Jonathan has worked in VC-funded software product companies in the telecommunications industry for more than 30 years. Jonathan was a founder and member of the executive team at Geneva Technology, a VC-funded telecoms billing start-up company from 1995-2002. He was responsible for the original conception and design of the company’s convergent real-time billing system. Jonathan continued as VP Product Strategy for Convergys Inc., post Geneva’s acquisition in 2001 for $692m.

David Long, VP Engineering, Director & Founder

David holds a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering. He has over 25 years experience in working with leading edge technology companies, mostly recently SolNet and Tait Electronics in New Zealand. David’s technical background in telecommunications development, combined with his sales and business skills, places him in a strong position to align OpenCloud’s technical and business direction.

Val Korolev, VP Professional Services

Val has worked in the telecommunications industry since 1994. He joined OpenCloud in 2010, bringing with him extensive experience in leading delivery teams around the world gained from more than 14 years within in the Professional Services organisations of major IN vendors such as Stratus Computers, Ascend, and Alcatel Lucent.
