Moriana Group publish: "Service Broker 1.0 Operator Guide"

March 25 2010,

OpenCloud is pleased to report and support today’s Service Broker Forum announcement of the release of a new operator guide, published by the Moriana Group. The Service Broker 1.0 Operator Guide has been published to help service providers understand how Telecom Service Brokers can help bridge the gap between legacy and next-gen network architectures. The free guide offers recommendations for carriers looking to use Telecom Service Brokers to increase ARPU by leveraging previous investments on legacy applications and network architectures as they migrate to NGN and IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) environments. The report can be downloaded here

“As service providers move to advanced NGN architectures, they are faced with the prospect of investing tremendous amounts of time and money on new applications designed specifically to ride on these new network architectures. The value behind Service Brokers is their ability to enable service providers to monetize their networks by not only deploying new services but by also leveraging legacy application deployments over new networks.” – Mac Taylor, Founder and CEO, Moriana Group
