OpenCloud appoints new chairman

OpenCloud Limited, the supplier of open standards-based application servers for the deployment of next-generation convergent telecommunications services, today announced the appointment of Jeff Gordon as chairman to help drive the company’s commitment to world-class delivery of robust, mature and proven infrastructure software to large telecom operators.
OpenCloud recently raised $10million of venture capital investment from Advent Venture Partners, Motorola and No 8 Ventures and Jeff will build on this and the increased demand for OpenCloud’s Rhino™ platform to consolidate the company’s position as a significant global player in the next generation telecoms network application server marketplace.
Jeff Gordon has more than 28 years experience and an outstanding track record in holding executive leadership roles with large corporate entities in the telecoms sector. Jeff’s previous experience includes a spell chairing Unisys European Management Board as well as heading up Motorola's EMEA infrastructure business in which he was responsible for $1.6 billion in annual revenues and leading 1400 employees. Jeff is chairman of Axiom Systems, a leading provider of service delivery solutions to the telecommunications industry, and also chairs Celltick Inc. and Pallasium.
