OpenCloud launches Rhino v2.2

Rhino 2.2 completed development and test and was shipped to the first customer on 21 December 2010.
OpenCloud is pleased to announce "General Availability" (GA) of Rhino 2.2
The headline features and benefits of Rhino 2.2 are:
- Rhino Element Manager (REM)
REM provides rĂ´le-based access to user-definable subsets of all the administration functions of Rhino. The management functions for the services that are hosted on Rhino may also be managed through REM.
REM provides a consolidated dash-board control panel and a secure single sign-on environment. REM may be used to manage one or more Rhino v2.x clusters. - Native support for Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) Performance and Fault Management in addition to Java Management Extensions (JMX)
- Reference integration & configuration with OpenNMS version 1.8.x
This reference integration is a template for systems integrators to use. Rhino 2.2 can be integrated with any good SNMP-based NMS - Enhanced scalability with many established sessions
- Configurable in-memory database persistence using Oracle 11 or PostgreSQL
- Support for Java 6 running in 64-bit mode on Solaris 10 and Redhat Enterprise Linux 5.5
